What Inmates CLAIM SHE ADMITTED Is CHILLING

A convicted killer who publicly claimed a fatal car crash was an accident allegedly confessed to fellow inmates that she deliberately murdered her boyfriend and friend, revealing she kept a disturbing scrapbook about the deaths with a picture of a brick wall marked “BOOM.”

Chilling Prison Confessions Revealed

Mackenzie Shirilla, 21, serving time at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, allegedly told inmates she intentionally crashed her Toyota Camry into a brick building at 100 mph in 2022, killing boyfriend Dominic Russo, 20, and friend Davion Flanagan, 18. Former inmate Anastasia, 30, told reporters that Shirilla appeared “amused” when describing the fatal crash in Cleveland, Ohio. The convicted murderer allegedly stated “Dom had to die” and claimed “the devil made her do it,” according to the former cellmate.

Anastasia described disturbing behavior behind bars, saying Shirilla seemed to enjoy recounting the deadly incident. The killer allegedly told inmates she felt suicidal at the time but appeared entertained when sharing details of the crash. Shirilla reportedly abused K2, a synthetic drug, while incarcerated and frequently went on erratic rants about her crimes. A judge dubbed her “Hell on wheels” during sentencing.

Scrapbook Discovery and False Medical Claims

The former inmate revealed Shirilla kept a twisted scrapbook containing a photograph of a brick wall with “BOOM” written on it, appearing to mock the fatal crash. Notably absent from the collection were any pictures of her two victims. Anastasia called this omission “cold,” highlighting the convicted killer’s apparent lack of remorse. Shirilla’s disciplinary record also includes flashing visitors and possessing inappropriate photographs in her cell, demonstrating a pattern of disturbing conduct.

Anastasia disputed Shirilla’s public claims about losing consciousness due to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, a rare blood pressure condition. The convicted killer told Netflix documentary “The Crash” that she suffered from this condition and passed out before impact. However, her former cellmate stated she never witnessed Shirilla experience such episodes during their time together at the reformatory.

Legal Appeals Exhausted

Shirilla’s legal options have largely been exhausted after the Ohio Supreme Court rejected her appeal for missing the filing deadline. Her campaign for a new trial was also denied in March 2026. The 21-year-old now faces no possibility of parole until 2037, meaning she will serve at least 11 more years behind bars. Her attorneys continue fighting the Supreme Court’s decision, but prospects appear limited. A former middle school classmate suggested Shirilla cultivated followers who sought her approval rather than genuine friendship, painting a picture of manipulative behavior that allegedly continued in prison.
