Two teenagers rode a dirt bike through a Myrtle Beach shopping mall on a Wednesday morning, crashing into a kiosk before fleeing on foot. The entire incident was captured on surveillance cameras, and both juveniles were quickly apprehended by police.
The Indoor Joyride Gone Wrong
Police arrived at Coastal Grand Mall around 10:54 a.m. on June 18 after receiving reports of a dirt bike operating inside the enclosed shopping center. The teens navigated the two-wheeler through storefronts and foot traffic before the machine collided with a kiosk, ending the dangerous stunt. Surveillance footage shows the moment of impact and the subsequent attempt to escape on foot. Officers took both juveniles into custody shortly after the crash.
No injuries were reported despite the reckless nature of the incident. The collision caused damage to a mall kiosk, though the extent of the destruction has not been disclosed. Mall operations resumed normal activity following the arrest. The decision to ride a dirt bike through an enclosed retail space created obvious hazards for shoppers and employees present during the morning hours.

You’re making a big deal out of nothing. For one, they don’t even look like teenagers, more like barely out of elementary school. Kids make mistakes. You talk about showing poor judgement, yeah, that’s because they’re kids. This certainly isn’t national newsworthy. Why am I seeing this in Texas? I don’t care. It’s clickbait. The headline made it out like it was a terrible event. THEY’RE KIDS! HELLO?!D
But Eve where were the parents during this time period. Let the parents be fined; let the kids do some type of community service. Take into consideration of someone like me handicapped and they crash into me. What if they ran into you? Kids maybe, but they still need to learn the rules.

Stupid kids doing outlandish, anti-social behaviours, without consequence become older and more bolder. They should be held accountable, and learn you cannot do something that endangers public safety, and then get a slap on the wrist, and then go on to bigger and more reckless things.

I see these things and their electric counterparts riding through vacant lawns and flood control areas. No respect for traffic of an automotive nature and total disregard for sidewalk users.It’s high time they are priced out of existence or just banned COMMUNITY WIDE, EXCEPT off road areas!. How these so called parents can afford these with rising Mortgage payments and Food prices,plus Gas is beyond me!
The liberals of the USA has been turning thier heads. To this kind of action for so long it has become accepted, and the kids will push it to the limits, what did they do rubb little Johnny’s head and tell them not to do it any more. Time to put a stop to the B.S.

Parents don’t parent anymore. When I was a kid, not only would we be unable to have a dirt bike–unless it was a type of bicycle–but riding it through a mall or store was unthinkable. We kept to the streets and sidewalks where we belonged. If any of us had dared to ride a motorbike into a store (recent news item) or a mall, not only would the parents be breathing down their necks, so would the police and the mall/store manager! And we would never hear the end of it! Parents would’ve told their kids they wouldn’t be getting their provisional licenses, period. Not responsible enough. Between the time of the incident and their 18th birthday, parents would be making very sure the kids in question know what constitutes responsible behavior behind the wheel. This is not a “childish mistake”– these kids knew what they were doing, and did it for kicks. Who knows, maybe their favorite online influencer told them to do it.
Pehaps we shoud outlaw teenagers! LOL
