Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released a snake that had repeatedly bitten him into a swimming pool filled with children, according to his sister Kerry Kennedy, who shared the disturbing account when asked about her brother’s history with animals and questioned his judgment regarding child safety.
Birthday Party Incident Turns Dangerous
Kerry Kennedy, a human rights activist, described an incident that occurred nearly three decades ago during her daughter’s birthday party. She discovered a snake in her garden and called her brother for assistance. RFK Jr. arrived holding his infant son Aidan, who was only a few months old at the time, while carrying a pillowcase in his other hand. He grabbed the snake and stuffed it into the pillowcase while still holding his baby son.
The health secretary then brought the snake to where children had gathered for the birthday celebration. He reached into the bag and pulled out the snake, which was actively biting his hand, to show the kids. Kennedy added that her brother placed a vole into the bag with the snake, causing children to scream in fear that the reptile would consume the small rodent in front of them.
Pool Release Raises Safety Concerns
After the snake bit Kennedy multiple times, the group moved to his residence where other children were swimming. Kerry Kennedy stated that numerous kids were in the pool when her brother released the snake that had just bitten him into the water with them. She publicly criticized her brother’s actions, claiming he demonstrated a lack of judgment when it comes to the safety and care of children, despite acknowledging his fascination with nature.
Recent Snake Encounters And Family Tensions
The birthday party story emerged weeks after RFK Jr. was filmed handling two Black Racer snakes at the Florida home of Dr. Mehmet Oz, who currently serves as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The non-venomous snakes repeatedly bit Kennedy during the removal, which he posted to social media. His wife Cheryl Hines could be heard warning him to be careful during the encounter.
Kerry Kennedy has been a vocal critic of her brother since his endorsement of Donald Trump in 2024, which she called a betrayal of their famous political family’s values. She publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz during the presidential campaign. RFK Jr. has not responded to his sister’s account of the swimming pool incident. The health secretary previously admitted to other controversial animal encounters, including dumping a bear carcass in New York’s Central Park.

I imagine if you were to ask the children, who were traumatized by RFK, decades ago….their story would match with his (RFK) sister.

Releasing a pet snake, into a swimming pool, is no where as bad as releasing millions of dangerous illegal aliens, into the United States. The non-poisonous snake did not go on to kill Rachel Morin. The dead bear did not kill Laken Riley .
RFK just has a warped sense of humor. Too bad about the bear, though, they are good to eat. Children need to be taught about snakes, not coddled into thinking all of them are bad and poisonous.

A prank with a garden snake that bit him… BFD! A snake small enough to fit in a pillow case and she thinks it big deal. So THAT is how the elite live. Heck I have played with snakes since I was a kid….and yes I have been bitten also because I didn’t realize Eastern garden (or garter) snakes do bite whereas Western garters do not.

The Kennedys have been Democrats since they came here from Ireland in the mid-19th century. And when one of their number becomes a Republican, of course they’re going to go on the attack to discredit him. Nice family, complete with Mafia connections.
