Discovery After Month-Long Disappearance

Jason Coulthart vanished on May 24 and was reported missing by concerned family members. His remains were found approximately one month later on June 25 on a property in Freeport, located on Florida’s panhandle. The elaborate concealment effort suggests premeditation, with investigators finding the victim restrained with a zip tie around his neck before being buried in the makeshift grave covered with concrete and a vehicle.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office identified Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, as the primary suspect wanted on an open murder charge. Coulthart, originally from New Jersey, leaves behind a 20-year-old son. Authorities have not yet disclosed the connection between Johnson and the victim or revealed a potential motive for the killing.

Suspect Uses Multiple Identities To Evade Justice

Johnson operates under numerous aliases including Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and possibly Denise, according to law enforcement. Investigators warn she has proven adept at manipulating others by fabricating stories about domestic violence and personal hardships to obtain transportation, money, and shelter from unsuspecting citizens. She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, and has brown hair with hazel eyes, though authorities believe she recently altered her appearance by cutting and dyeing her hair.

The suspect has distinctive tattoos including a floral design on her left hand near her thumb and forefinger, plus another tattoo on her right ankle. She maintains connections throughout Okaloosa and Walton counties in Florida, multiple areas across Georgia, and lower Alabama. Known to relocate frequently, Johnson is described as a swindler who preys on sympathetic individuals.

Reward Increased As Search Intensifies

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office increased the reward for information leading to Johnson’s capture from $6,000 to $11,000 last week. In a direct message posted on Facebook, authorities addressed the fugitive: “Isabelle. Harley. Jessica. Whatever you’re calling yourself now. Turn yourself in. Enough is enough.” Five additional individuals have already been arrested as accessories to the murder, though police have not elaborated on their specific roles or connection to the crime.
