Back in the 1950s there was nothing like this going on. I primarily blame the government, the Processed Food Industry and the Medical Industry. There ignorance has caused the lowering of the mental and physical health of Americans. America used to be #1 in World Health. Today it is in 47th place. The human body and brain need nutrients from unprocessed pesticide-free food to function well. Nutrients provide energy and good health. American processed food has no nutrient-value. In addition, the lab-created substances in drugs and vaccines are carried by the bloodstream to the brain… The brain requires nutrients from food to function …not the substances that are drugs and vaccines. I don’t necessarily disagree with your position, but we learn of these horrible events a lot faster than ever, creating the impression that bad things are more prevalent now. I read about a man in the late 1790s who killed his wife and kids with an axe, then went to to kill his livestock.
Added to the previous excellent comment: Many teachers in the schools and colleges have been indoctrinated with Marxist, and now with Islamic, doctrines. They are passing this filth learning on to their students. Violent video games have desensitized youths to the sight and acts of violence they are so absorbed in, and then they go out and act it all out. Role playing: boys becoming cross dressers, teens sporting bunny or kitty ears and tails, weirdo kids trying to force us normal people to use their so-called preferred pronouns, and lots of other garbage, all of these cosplay b.s. things lead to genuine mental illness. I believe you are incorrect when you state there are no winners in this. The winners were the Middle school students and teachers who ended up not being targeted in a mass shooting.
I’ve continued to say that the news media’s coverage of these shootings inspired others to gain their 15 minutes of glory by repeating the shootings at other places. The public has a right to knowledge but not at the expense of others.
