Two Charlotte mothers are demanding three million dollars from the federal government after Border Patrol agents chased them down a dead-end street, smashed their car windows with a rifle, and held them at gunpoint while they were driving to a Christmas show with their children.
Federal Agents Chase Concerned Citizens
Tatyana Reisini and Kristen Roos were headed to the Southern Christmas Show on November 17, 2025, when they noticed federal immigration agents near Eastway Drive. Concerned about their community and because the location was on their route, they drove toward the area. The women spotted what they believed was an unmarked agent vehicle with out-of-state plates and followed it into a parking lot off The Plaza, where other concerned drivers had gathered, honking horns and blowing whistles to warn community members.
Federal agents in multiple vehicles surrounded Reisini’s 2019 Acura and emerged yelling at the women. Terrified by the armed, masked agents, Reisini maneuvered away and called 911. The operator recommended they drive to a public area like a police station. Instead, attempting to find safety, Reisini unknowingly turned down a dead-end street lined with townhomes.
Rifle Through Window As Child Seat Sits Empty
When agents boxed them in again at a random driveway, one pointed an assault rifle nearly flush against the driver’s window, directly at Reisini’s face. He then repeatedly struck the window with the rifle’s barrel until the glass shattered onto Reisini. An empty child’s car seat sat in the back. A neighbor captured the confrontation on video, which later received over nine million views on social media.
Agents zip-tied Reisini’s hands behind her back. One officer said loudly, “You’re a stellar mom,” to which Reisini responded, “I am a stellar mom, thank you very much.” The women were then held at an FBI office. Then-commander Gregory Bovino later praised the incident on social media, calling them “excellent arrests for assault on a federal officer.”
Three Million Dollar Demand For Federal Overreach
Attorneys with the Southern Coalition for Social Justice filed claims Monday under the Federal Tort Claims Act against the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Protection. The legal notice details how agents “quickly sowed terror and fear across the city, disrupting daily life” during what officials called “Operation Charlotte’s Web.” When asked about the risk of smashing a window with a loaded weapon, Bovino told The New York Times he was not concerned. The mothers claim false imprisonment, assault, and property damage during enforcement activities they say violated their constitutional rights as American citizens simply expressing concern for their neighbors.

Don’t be where you should not be. Was none of there business. They caused the problem, and put theirself at risk. Show up at a house fire and interfere with firefighters putting out fir. How can you be “where you should not be” when THEY, are coming for you?. How about ICE officers being “responsible for their actions”. They have bodycams but do not turn them on. They lie about Renee Good and Alex Pretti ‘weaponizing their vehicle.
They have lied too many times. They are paid to do a tough task and have big responsibilities, with a gun. They need to live up to them or be punished, like any other criminal.

In this particular case, it sounds like the women were harassing the federal agents, blocking them in and preventing them from doing their jobs. I have seen the recordings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. In both of those cases, the people in question threatened federal agents, one with her vehicle (she actually hit an agent causing injury), the other had a gun. Both people could have avoided their own deaths by following the lawful orders given to them. Both of them refused, leading to their deaths. So many people treat law-enforcement like they are some kind of subhumans. That is disgusting and definitely NOT inclusive or remotely reasonable. The women in this case should have avoided the situation and not stopped to harass the officers. FAFO. I hope they lose the lawsuit and are forced to pay court costs.

Well said. If we are Christians then the Holy Spirit in us is meant to push back against evil using us as vessels. But Christians or not we have no business where law enforcement is doing their jobs pushing back against evil in this case rounding up illegal invaders that wanted to cut in line (I always disdain line cutters at Disney land etc) not taking their time in legal vetted immigration
ALWAYS respond positively to law enforcement. If they say “Roll down your window” then by all means OBEY the order! The officers are just doing the their jobs! Those moms were in the Wrong.

ICE agents cover their face, and even though they have bodycams to document their interactions with the public, they do not always turn them on.
They have been given a quota of 2,000 arrests/day, which is impossible unless you cut corners.
SCOTUS has given them broad latitude to harass folks with a darker tan than me, folks who have an accent. That’s racist and morally wrong. They were in a public place, where they have a right to be. Their rights were violated and their car was damaged. They are in the right.

This sounds like theses two women made severl bad decisions.
1) Noticed a car with out of state license and decided to follow it. How many have you decided to follow a car wit out of state license?
2. Entered an area where something was evidently happening and became a party of a law enforcement action. Apparently they drove into the middle of in instead of staying away from the where the LEO’s were. Sort of like going to a house fire and
driving into the middle of the firemen where they were working
3. Apparently when requested to exit their car they drove away. How fast were they driving that would have caused a police chase of several cars?
4. They called 911 and were told to drive to a public place like a police station. Instead they drove into a neighborhood where families lived. Endangering innocent families.
5. Refused to exit car.
By that time they had broken several laws and knew they were in trouble. I have absolutely no sympathy for them.
I like the way you covered the ice agents ass but it’s clear that they had no legal reasons to be there, except to make trouble knowing that they would never be held accountable.

This may be a product of AI: The reporting states they saw a marked ICE vehicle so they drove to the area (the Southern Christmas Show as mentioned?). Then they saw an unmarked ICE Vehicle with out of state plates and followed it to a parking lot where others were gathered honking horns to warn the community about the presence of ICE. Agents, apparently, surrounded their automobile. Why did Agents select them? Totally random? Some activity that caught agent’s attention? It is unclear. Rather than obeying demands, among numerous other community members, the driver opted to drive away (how did they break away from the ‘surrounded’ status? Drove to a cul-de-sac, pulled into a driveway. Apparently this was the section where a ‘chase’ took place (from the perspective of agents). Coming up to windows and breaking them with the ‘business end’ of a weapon flies in the face of ‘standard law enforcement procedure’ (separate but very volatile discussion). Superior reaction to law enforcement commands to lower windows should have been heeded while in the parking lot in plain view of witnessing public that, based on horns, were not pro-ICE. Just safer that way while achieving compliance with law enforcement commands.
I agree that the women, instead of minding their own business decided to impede on the ice agencies duties, so they should not receive anything in a lawsuit and should be lucky they are not being charged with anything let this be a lesson to people who think they can interfere in law enforcement business, and no I am not in law enforcement I am a retired truck driver with common sense.
