Three armed men impersonating federal immigration agents pulled over a driver in Oregon, assaulted the victim during a 20-minute detention, and fled without identification. The Roadside Detention
The incident occurred on July 17 between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. on Highway 211 near Woodburn, Oregon. The victim was driving when an unmarked SUV equipped with red and blue emergency lights pulled up behind their vehicle. Believing this to be a legitimate law enforcement stop, the driver pulled into a gravel turnout. Two men exited the vehicle, one armed with a rifle, and identified themselves as ICE agents.
The men forcibly removed the victim from their vehicle and conducted a search. The driver was then placed in the back of the suspects’ SUV, where a third person waited. Oregon State Police reported the victim was assaulted by this individual during the detention. After 15 to 20 minutes, the men released the victim without explanation. The driver sought medical treatment for injuries sustained during the assault.
Suspect Description and Warning Signs
Investigators described the suspects as wearing tactical vests bearing white lettering that read “POLICE,” along with badges similarly marked “Police.” The men wore boots, baseball caps, face coverings, and green long-sleeved shirts. Their vehicle was a newer model compact SUV, described as blue or gray, notably lacking visible license plates. Oregon State Police confirmed federal law enforcement agencies verified these individuals were not legitimate federal officers.
Following the assault, the victim received suspicious text messages from an unknown number claiming to represent a law firm offering legal representation for the incident. Investigators are examining whether these messages connect to the suspects.

They released her and she went to the hospital. Later, ICE said that wasn’t them. I believe them.
The problem is that because they cover their faces and hide their identity, criminals can very easily pretend they are ICE, and rape kill and steal from passers by.

One cannot help but wonder if Oregon -in the same legislation passed regarding FEDERAL law enforcement personnel attire- also made it a felony to dox a federal agent? I have to wonder of the constitutionality of a state dictating to the feds, regarding the approach to enforcing federal laws which the states are sworn to uphold, via the oaths of office of their state & federal officials.

Federal agents come from everywhere, so they are not often subjects of doxing. (Which state would you go to even if you snap a picture of their faces? Their uniforms are similar to the uniforms of many legitimate law enforcement officers, and their gear can be bought on specialized Army sites. Without a license tag on their vehicle, they were able to operate without fear of getting found out.
