Mother USED Teen Daughter In Surrogacy Case

An Oklahoma mother and her boyfriend face serious criminal charges after authorities say they used the woman’s 14-year-old daughter as a surrogate to birth twins, fleeing the state before DNA testing could confirm paternity.

Disturbing Allegations Surface in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City Police arrested Palmer and her boyfriend, Potier, following an investigation into allegations that the couple impregnated Palmer’s teenage daughter to have children together. During police interviews, Palmer allegedly claimed her daughter desperately wanted additional siblings. The mother told investigators she wanted children with her current boyfriend, but could not conceive because her tubes were tied. Authorities say the couple’s explanation raised immediate red flags about the welfare of the minor child involved in the situation.

Couple Flees Before DNA Evidence Collected

Palmer denied allowing Potier to impregnate her daughter, who is now 15 years old. Police obtained a search warrant to collect DNA samples from Potier to determine paternity at the teenager’s next medical appointment. Before authorities could conduct the test, the couple fled Oklahoma. The US Marshals Nevada Violent Offender Task Force located them more than 1,000 miles away in the Reno and Sparks area through a coordinated operation. Both suspects were taken into custody at the Washoe County Detention Facility and await extradition to Oklahoma County.

Serious Criminal Charges Filed

Potier faces charges of sexual assault of a child. Palmer, who also uses the surname Ramirez according to court records, was charged with enabling the sexual abuse of a child and two counts of desertion of a child under 15 years old. The case highlights the vulnerability of minors in family situations where adults abuse their positions of trust and authority. Oklahoma law enforcement worked with federal marshals to ensure the suspects could not evade justice by crossing state lines. The investigation remains ongoing as prosecutors prepare their case for trial.
