Remember when MADD (Mothers against drunk driving) used to post public statements about the dangers of drunk driving…..well, after calling their local number in the Bay Area and the national number in Houston for many months…..you won’t get anybody or even a ringtone…just a beep-beep and then a dead phone…so what gives with this nonprofit that gets tax money but no longer seems to respond to the public….I’ve even had radio stations call after serious drunk driving accidents here, and they don’ get a response either….the CHP doesn’t know either….so try to call their national number in Houston (977-623-3435 or google it) and see what you get….the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is the only one issuing public safety announcements and they could use some help!
A 3-state criminal history and yet he or she’s still out there walking free prior to the accident. And the driver will be right back out on the street again. The person will get a sentence of some sort, but will most certainly be back out there again doing more damage to the civilized public.
