ICE Agent BLASTS Protesters Over Arrest Disruption

A tense confrontation unfolded in a St. Paul, Minnesota, neighborhood on Sunday as ICE agents attempted to arrest an illegal immigrant wanted for child sex offenses, only to be obstructed by leftist activists who honked horns and blew whistles in an apparent effort to warn and protect the suspect.

Video footage captured by Freedom News TV shows an exasperated ICE agent pulling up to a group of reporters and activists, leaning out of his vehicle to shout: “We’re here to arrest a child sex offender, and you guys are out here honking!”

When a reporter responded, “Oh, no. We’re press,” the agent pointed to a nearby car and continued: “That vehicle right there is honking and impeding our investigation while we’re trying to arrest a child sex offender. That’s who you guys are protecting.” He then drove off, yelling, “Insane!”

Additional video from the scene shows activists surrounding the agents, demanding to see a warrant and accusing them of lying, while continuing to disrupt the operation with noise and physical presence.

In an official statement posted on X, ICE directly addressed the interference: “When anti-ICE agitators impede our operations, they’re defending criminal illegal alien child sex predators.”

The incident is part of a broader wave of protests and clashes in Minnesota amid intensified federal immigration enforcement. In Minneapolis, pro-immigrant activists have been camping outside the Whipple federal building, home to an ICE detention facility, leading to confrontations with police and reports of rioting.

The Trump administration has placed approximately 1,500 active-duty soldiers from the Army’s 11th Airborne Division on standby for possible deployment to Minnesota if President Trump invokes the Insurrection Act. Minnesota National Guard troops have also been mobilized to assist local law enforcement.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey appeared on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, criticizing the troop deployment as “clearly designed to intimidate the people of Minneapolis” and vowing that the city would not be intimidated. He warned that unrest would continue until ICE operations cease in the area.

The events highlight the growing friction between federal immigration authorities and local activists, with enforcement actions increasingly met by organized resistance.
