Border Czar Tom Homan reveals shocking separation from his wife due to death threats tied to his immigration enforcement role under President Trump. While securing our nation’s borders, Homan makes the ultimate patriotic sacrifice as leftist intimidation targets his family for simply enforcing America’s laws.
Death Threats Force Border Chief to Live Apart from Family
White House Border Czar Tom Homan has been forced to live separately from his wife due to escalating death threats since joining the Trump administration. These threats come as Homan leads efforts to secure America’s southern border and enforce immigration laws that had been neglected during the previous administration.
Tom Homan: "Every day we arrest a public safety threat, it makes this country much safer. Who the hell would be against that? I get pissed off because I'm sick of meeting Angel Moms and Dads. You want to talk about family separation? They buried their children."

During an interview on the New York Post’s “Pod Force One” podcast, Homan revealed the personal toll of his public service. “My wife’s living separately from me right now, mainly because I worked many hours, but mostly because of the death threats against me and my family are outrageous,” Homan stated.
Trump’s Personal Call Brings Homan Back to Service
Despite the personal hardships, Homan answered President Trump’s call to return to public service and address the border crisis. The veteran law enforcement officer recounted receiving a direct call from Trump while dining with his wife, a moment that demonstrated the President’s trust in Homan’s abilities to secure the border.

When Homan saw “POTUS” on his caller ID, his wife immediately knew what was happening. “My wife says, ‘He’s asking him to come back, isn’t he?'” Homan recalled, highlighting how his family understood the significance of Trump’s request.
Border Security Success Despite Personal Sacrifice
Under Homan’s leadership, southern border crossings have plummeted to record lows, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Trump administration’s renewed enforcement efforts. Between June 1st and June 22nd, border officials recorded just 5,414 apprehensions and 986 “gotaways,” marking the lowest numbers in recent history.
“She’s someplace else. I see her as much as I can, but the death threats against me and my family are outrageous.”
Homan’s sacrifices highlight the dangerous politicization of law enforcement officials who are simply doing their jobs to protect American sovereignty. Democratic governors like Kathy Hochul of New York and JB Pritzker of Illinois have publicly challenged Homan, with Hochul provocatively stating, “If Tom Homan comes to Albany to arrest me, I’ll say go for it.”
Despite the personal cost, Homan remains committed to his mission of securing America’s borders. His dedication exemplifies the Trump administration’s commitment to putting America first, even when faced with threats and intimidation from those who oppose the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws.
