Jeffrey Dahmer’s Mom DEFENDS Son In Interview

New evidence suggests serial killer Christopher Wilder murdered as many as 30 victims during his brutal rampage, far exceeding the nine deaths historically attributed to him and potentially matching Ted Bundy’s notorious body count.

Australian Investigators Reopen Cold Cases

Australian investigators Andy Byrne and Mark Lewellyn are leading an extensive re-examination through their true crime podcast Catching Evil. The investigation now links Wilder to the 1965 Wanda Beach murders of two 15-year-old best friends in Australia, decades before his known 1984 rampage across the United States. The team consulted renowned criminal psychologist Dr. Eric Hickey, former Miami homicide detective Dr. Nelson Andreau, who investigated Wilder directly, and international crime writer Michael Rowbotham, who had a personal encounter with the killer.

The Psychology Behind the Predator

Dr. Hickey categorizes Wilder as a true psychopath, distinct from sociopaths like Jeffrey Dahmer. While Dahmer’s mother bizarrely claimed her son never tried to hurt his victims despite killing, dismembering, and eating them, Wilder operated from pure sadism. Hickey explains these psychopaths are social chameleons, charming and intelligent, who use torture as how they process the world. Wilder possessed all the tools of deception including good looks, charisma, wealth, and a practiced ability to lie without discomfort.

Camera and False Promises Drew Victims

Detective Andreau details Wilder’s theatrical hunting method: carrying a camera, offering modeling opportunities, and presenting himself as a successful businessman to young women. Once a victim entered his car, she ceased to exist as a human being in his mind. Andreau describes Wilder experiencing escalating euphoria with every step the woman took toward him, every question answered, every moment his elaborate lie held firm. His true predatory nature remained hidden beneath a flawless facade until it was tragically too late for his victims.

What This Means

The investigation reveals how easily psychopaths can hide in plain sight, using superficial charm to mask their monstrous intentions. The expanded victim count demonstrates how many murders may go unsolved when investigators lack the technology and coordination available today. This case underscores the importance of vigilance and the tragic reality that evil often wears the most convincing disguises.

  1. He is/was a MONSTER, a twisted serial killer who deserves no compassion. This woman, regardless, is delusional and making excuses for his unspeakable acts of terror, murder and the destruction of families of the victims is uncomprehensible.
