Hundreds of Iranian-Americans flooded Manhattan streets to celebrate the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a joint US-Israeli strike in Tehran that eliminated over 40 top Iranian officials. The spontaneous demonstrations marked the most significant blow to Iran’s regime in nearly 50 years.
Nationwide Celebrations Erupt
Approximately 500 demonstrators gathered in Midtown Manhattan, chanting support for America and President Trump while carrying banners reading ‘Make Iran Great Again.’ The crowd marched toward Times Square waving the Iranian Lion and Sun flag, which has been banned since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Participants sang Iran’s pre-revolutionary national anthem, celebrating what many view as liberation from decades of oppression. Similar celebrations erupted across Los Angeles, and internationally in London, Paris, and Canada, where demonstrators expressed gratitude for the military action.
Voices From Inside Iran
Ramin Sohrab, a 45-year-old Connecticut resident, told reporters that Iranians at home are calling the military strikes a ‘human rescue’ operation rather than war. Reza Ebrahimi, 37, shared that his mother in Iran supports the military action despite personal risk, noting his brother was shot during recent protests against the regime. Nehzat Lavvaf, 47, reported that her family in Iran is sheltering from ongoing strikes while celebrating the regime’s downfall. She stated Iranian state television is urging citizens to go outside during bombings to increase civilian casualties for propaganda purposes, but families are ignoring these broadcasts and following President Trump’s guidance to remain indoors.
Cross-Cultural Unity Emerges
In London, demonstrators waved both Israeli and Iranian flags together in an unprecedented display of solidarity between two populations historically divided by conflict. Ebrahimi noted that counter-protesters in New York appeared to include Palestinians and others, but no actual Iranians opposed the strikes. The demonstrations reflect widespread frustration with Khamenei’s regime, which responded to recent protests with violence and mass executions. The strikes represent a decisive moment in US-Iran relations and regional stability, with families across Iran expressing hope for fundamental change after decades under authoritarian rule.

The democrats are not going to be happy about this showing of Iranian support here in America!!
Any oppressed ppl will respect a saviour but DJT is not the one.
At this point in history, DJT is the ONLY one!
Now, if only the mainstream media will report the truth about these demonstrations!
We live in a country that has the most conceited a holes in the world. We picked against Trump because of hatred for what he did yet the Iranian people thank him for what he did. We think we know more than the Iranian people who are celebrating the removal of Iatolia
