Movie Star BREAKS Down in Emotional Video

Former teen movie star Molly Ringwald posted an emotional video message to social media calling the current administration a “fascist government” and urging followers to protest immigration enforcement actions.

Emotional Social Media Appeal

The actress, known for her roles in 1980s films like “Sixteen Candles” and “The Breakfast Club,” broke from her usual social media presence to deliver a tearful message on Instagram Tuesday. Ringwald stated she could no longer remain silent about what she described as “something horrible” happening in America. She became visibly emotional while discussing families being separated and individuals being harmed for “standing up for what’s right.”

In the video, Ringwald specifically mentioned children being separated from parents, mothers being killed, and healthcare workers facing consequences. She referenced fathers and ICU nurses among those affected by current policies. The actress’s voice shook as she described families grieving loved ones who were targeted for their advocacy efforts.

Celebrity Political Activism

Ringwald acknowledged that speaking out politically was uncommon for her, prefacing her remarks by noting she doesn’t typically address followers in such a direct manner. Despite expressing pride in being American, she declared the current situation had crossed a line into authoritarianism. The video concluded with repeated pleas for viewers to use their voices and take action against policies she deemed harmful to vulnerable populations.

Immigration Enforcement Context

The actress’s comments come amid ongoing national debates over immigration policy and enforcement priorities. Her references to ICE operations and family separations reflect concerns raised by various advocacy groups about current immigration practices. The emotional nature of her appeal highlights how political developments are motivating public figures who previously avoided partisan commentary to speak out on issues they consider matters of basic human rights and constitutional principles.

  1. Someone needs to remind her that we are NOT a ‘democracy’ but a Constitutional Representative REPUBLIC subject to laws rooted in the Constitution.
Her implied ‘threat’ of retribution is exactly what is wrong with far too many on the left. WHY didn’t she criticize the slow joe regime for using blatant lawfare to attempt to undermine the rule of law? Maybe because she was already in the ‘revenge’ mode?
