A man with extreme anti-life views who provided explosive materials for the Palm Springs fertility clinic bombing, which resulted in millions of dollars in damage, has been arrested by the FBI. For giving Guy Edward Bartkus hundreds of pounds of ammonium nitrate, Daniel Jongyon Park, 32, is charged with federal terrorism. Bartkus died while carrying out the attack on a facility that assists women and families in creating life.
Anti-Life Extremist Arrested After Fleeing to Europe
Daniel Park was taken into custody at JFK Airport after being apprehended in Poland, just weeks after the May 17 explosion that injured four people and caused up to $12 million in damage. Park allegedly shipped 180 pounds of ammonium nitrate to Bartkus and paid for an additional 90 pounds before the attack, creating one of the most extensive bombing investigations in Southern California history.

Federal agents discovered that Park had been stockpiling chemicals for years, purchasing 275 pounds of ammonium nitrate between October 2022 and May 2025. Authorities found explosive materials and equipment at Park’s Washington state home similar to those used in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, revealing the extensive planning behind this terrorist act.
Extremist Ideology Motivated Attack on Life-Giving Facility
Both Park and Bartkus shared dangerous philosophies known as anti-natalism and pro-mortalism, which view human existence as harmful and support human extinction. U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli stated during the investigation, “We learned of Bartkus’ pro-mortalist, anti-natalist and anti-pro-life extremist ideology,” confirming the attack was explicitly motivated by opposition to facilities that help create families.

Bartkus left behind a manifesto expressing his anti-life views, condemning religion, and calling for a “war against pro-lifers.” The manifesto revealed the twisted ideology behind targeting a fertility clinic that exists solely to help women and couples fulfill their dreams of having children, showing the cruel intent behind this act of domestic terrorism.
Attempted Recruitment of Others to Join Extremist Cause
FBI investigations revealed that Park attempted to recruit others with similar ideologies through social media and internet forums. Akil Davis of the FBI stated, “Park’s social media posts indicate that he was attempting to recruit others of like-minded ideology and discuss these things on internet forums,” suggesting a broader attempt to spread their violent anti-life ideology.
“Domestic terrorism is evil and unacceptable. Those who aid terrorists can expect to feel the cold wrath of justice.” – Bill Essayli.
Park faces up to 15 years in federal prison if convicted of providing material support to terrorism. Pam Bondi condemned the attack, stating, “Bringing chaos and violence to a facility that exists to help women and mothers is a ruthless, disgusting crime that strikes at the very heart of our shared humanity,” highlighting the direct assault on traditional family values represented by this heinous act.
