The original property, bought by Epstein in 1990 for $2.5 million, contained buildings demolished in early 2021, including the main house, a pool, and a staff building. The overhaul is part of a broader effort to replace the infamous memories associated with the site with an aspirational and hopeful future.
Plans for the Property
Following the sale to venture capitalist David Skok for $25.85 million, the estate will host a Cape Dutch style home, approved for development by Palm Beach’s Architectural Commission. Skok echoed the community’s sentiments in his vision: “When we purchased 360 El Brillo Way, one of our goals was to take something that, I think, had a very bad reputation and was a blight on the community and do everything we could to bring that to a state of beauty and grace that added to the town.”
